ShadeNet Essentials and Plant Growers Essentials include the founding products of Klips n Things CC.  These innovative clips and accessories are used extensively by farmers of fruit and plants especially under shade net.  We have worked with farmers to improve / solve / ease their shade cloth installations including clips that ease rolling back shade cloth, open and shutting shade cloth, increasing the speed to react to extreme weather, ease of blushing of fruit and many other applications.  The shade cloth clip range includes our founding shade cloth clip (launched 1996) and new products that, used with our shade cloth clips ease opening and closing of shade cloth.  This range also includes pole caps.

We added the multi-clip in 2020.  This extremely versatile 170mm flexible soft clip has an unlimited variety of uses.  The multi-clip can be used for attaching plants or trees to a wire or stake.  The clip is soft and stretchy so will protect the plant.  It is adjustable so as the plant or tree requires more room the multi clip can be adjusted.  A unique design feature is these multi-clips can be linked together to make them longer where required.  Their use is not limited to plants and trees in the field – think of a reusable cable tie.

We market and sell our RoofWhirlys4Africa range of energy saving roof mounted wind turbine ventilators through an extensive distributor network and export to other countries in Africa and the world (we have customers in the USA and…..).

We have extensive experience in the design and manufacture of whirlybird type vents gained over many years whilst manufacturing whirlybird type vents for large ventilation companies for export (using their specification). Some years later, using our extensive knowledge of plastics and the skills of a registered engineer, we designed and built moulds for a range of superior quality whirlybird type vents. This straight vane design has been shown in University studies to be more effective at drawing out hot air than the onion shaped design.  Our designs ensure a aesthetically pleasing, colourful, hardy range of wind turbine vents and sewer / toilet vents that endure harsh weather much better than metal, aluminium and rigid plastic. Our whirlybird type vents contain 2 sealed bearings instead of 1 (so are whisper quiet and incredibly free moving).  We have whirlybird type vents in our range that are completely unique as they are completely corrosive proof.

Over the years customers and friends have asked us to design and manufacture SAFE equestrian equipment.  We have experienced the devastation when friends have lost their treasured horse because he/she got tied up in electric tape.  We have seen horses after getting really hurt by large splinters from a wooden post and rail fence.  And we have witnessed children getting hurt landing on a show jump…….

Safety4Horses Showjumping Jump Cups and Safety Release adapters etc

We began our equestrian range with our tough show jumping jump cup and keyhole strips. Subsequently we have developed three jump cup safety release adapters that releases at 45kg, 85kg and 135kg (the FEI standard is 135kg). The 45kg and 85kg show jumping safety release adapter has become extremely popular for showjumping at home, young riders etc – after all how many of us are actually jumping 1.50 metre jumps with a 850kg horse?   This is another example of our innovative products for everyday life.  Our range of showjumping equipment includes flags (a familiar sight at showjumping venues) and show jump number boards.

Safety4Fencing

We then designed and patented our Safety4Fencing super safe electrified permanent ranch style paddock fencing. Our customers absolutely RAVE about our fencing – a great example of our innovative practical products for everyday life. One of our first fencing customers Nicky Whitfield, now living in Randjiesfontein, has owned outstanding quality horses for the whole of her life and lived in many countries. She waxes lyrical about our fencing saying it is the best and safest fencing by far. We have customers throughout South Africa and in many other countries who share similar views. Apart from being super safe – it is immaculate and requires NO maintenance except for being wiped with a damp cloth from time to time and re-tensioned in required. It lasts for in excess of 10 years. An outstanding “fit and forget” product.

ProVault Equestrian Vaulting

One of our truly innovative practical products for everyday life is our Safety4Horses mechanical ProVault vaulting barrel.  International vaulting instructors are particularly impressed with the accurate canter motion.  This mechanical vaulting barrel has a variable speed control.  Our equestrian vaulting range also includes hand stand handles to improve balance.
